Well got the stand done... did I mention I work slow? Got the on/off switch mounted and turned some spacers for the handle mount. Very steady now.
But it really is nice. I did fabricat the sliding fence though. The extended upper blade guide works great too. No mill required for that either. Its just a piece of 3/4" x 3/8" bar stock and a piece of 3/4" angle welded together. I used a precision machinist square to get it to a perfect right angle before welding. It took less than 30 minutes to make.
