Finishing the inside of pole building on my own. Posts are 8' on center. Walls are 16'. For drywall what girt size and spacing should I use?

None of that is sufficient for drywall.........Finishing the inside of pole building on my own. Posts are 8' on center. Walls are 16'. For drywall what girt size and spacing should I use?

Face mounted to use blanket insulation or book shelf girts for batts?
Face mounted in barndominiums is common to use 24' long 2x4 on 24" centers with 5/8 drywall. I would use Type C drywall with its higher fiberglass content and better fire resistance.

In Illinois. Outside is steel panel on 2x6 girls. Inside will be blanket insulation with face nailed girts.

Just build a 16' wall - 16" on center framing slab to ceiling flush with the posts inside face.
This is what drywall wants and you can get a better insulation with normal fiberglass batts .
In Illinois I'd put a layer of foam against the metal and in between the wall girts and foam the seams against anything that might let air in to seal the wall cavity then build your walls.
