Few Ebay finds to feed the Wright addiction, a new 4430 1/2 long flex ratchet, and a used 1/2 socket set with a 4400 ratchet.
Just figured out the date codes, R, the socket set is 1975. Can't believe how good of shape it is for the age, no rust and only one socket has a small piece of chrome missing.
On the 4400 ratchet from the set, were the older ones single pawl? It is a nice smooth ratcheting action, but doesn't feel like the double pawl like the newer Wright ratchets.

I'm a huge wright they are a top notch brand IMO. There is a flea market that has some of they're sockets for $1 a piece and I'm going in the morning to finish buying them out. They got cougar pro as well but idk about those as they are not the same. The people that own the stand want 2 each for craftsman sockets and $5 for snap on which I bought all of their newer ones and $1 for all the industrial brands like wright and williams that's so retarded of them but they only think craftsman is good or something. I'm sure not going to educate them lol. They had a bunch of Williams kobalt as well and I cleaned them out on those as well. But they have more tools than anyone I've ever seen in my life like millions of sockets and a million other tools it's so overwhelming to look through specially when my wife is bitching at me for taking so long or having to hold our little girl in on arm and dig with other.. Ahhhh. Lol... Anyways the people bought the Booth from a guys family after he passed away cheap and are clueless about tools pretty much they want $5000 for it all and im thinking about buying out of good stuff and going into used tool business I could easily make 10 times my money on the USA stuff. It's my secret spot lol... I'll post pics of my for sure score tomorrow.

Hi Bob you are in my area my wife is from where you are and I lived there for awhile when I worked for my wife's grandpa he owns the Lucas oil plant up there it is the shelbyville flea market in simpsonville Ky maybe 45 min drive from you just go like your going to Lexington it's easy to get directions.

Anyways did very good yesterday day got 90 sockets or so all weight and cougar which is they're cheaper brand but say USA on them and last but not least got 3 IH international sockets made by weight rare as hens teeth I paid 1 each for Wright's and coagars but 5 each for the internationals which was only 3 they had
.I highly recommend going to the flea market I mentioned as you will never see as many sockets and tools they got anywhere else and are cheap they got a million sockets to dig through so make sure you have plenty time some are sorted by brand but a lot aren't I'll post pics of my finds from yesterday but I did buy some the last time as well I think 40 Wright's sockets then.

Thanks for the info about the flea market. I have been there years ago. There is another good Flea market in Shepardsville Ky. It is on I65 I think it is exit 114.

Thanks Bob maybe I'll see you around some day or we can meet up and hunt together also try cash America pawn shop in clarksville I've got so much from them I couldn't begin to type it all put it this way I filled my tool boxes up from there and haven't spent $100.They got bins full of used tools you can buy a smaller box full for $5 or big shoe box for $25 but I go for $5 box get like 100 sockets or so. I've got a lot of good USA brands from them now I'm a regular and get deals. Also there is a flea market in Memphis Indiana by me that has a lot of tools as well. Put it this way I've never paid more than $5 bucks on a single tool anywhere and all my tools are truck brands and industrial USA brands or craftsman USA and I got at least 1000 sockets as most tools came from pawn shop I got a lot of tools and maybe $600 including my Matco, makita and snap on power tools all bought this year. I got 6 tool boxes full and a couple card board boxes as I'm in dire need of a bigger box. Bought a snap on top box full of all USA tools for 50 even. I love the hunt. Wright is my new found favorite now they are so nicely made. I'd say equal to my newer snap on tools all I bought used cheap as well from the big flea market.
