I keep seeing these on Craigslist (spam, unfortunately) and I thought I would share as they do seem well-designed. They're heavy-duty shelving brackets for pole barns.

They run $75 a piece but they do look to be a nice solution.

No affiliation, though they do say they are made in Wisconsin! http://www.post-rack.com

So, $450 for the six brackets in that photo (plus the lumber for the actual shelving). I paid considerably less than that for used pallet racking with more shelf space for my pole barn.

Yes, there are cheaper methods... but this gets it off the ground and doesn't require you to build your own, and has no angled support under.

Watch that you don't pull the barn down. Pallet racking stands on the floor.

^^^THIS. The brackets in the photo impose an eccentric load on the poles, especially if you are using them to hold heavy items. Combine that with a heavy snow load and the poles can buckle. "Eyeball" engineering is not a replacement for real load calcs.

I have seen these before, but like said above, way to expensive and the loading on the poles is not good.

Pallet racking is easily found. There is a salvage yard near me that has about 8 to 10 tractor trailer loads sitting in their yard right now, maybe more than that.
