Here a pic of Fred. Adopted the cat literally minutes before being loaded in a van to be euthanized because he was not adoptable because of litter box problems and very moody so my wife bought him home and he lived 13 years as an outdoor cat until he developed thyroid problems........ Gone November 2020 but not forgotten and I miss him.

Last couple of minutes with my buddy ZUZU. Found him in a ditch after a thunderstorm, eyes still closed no bigger than my finger. Many hours with an eye dropper feeding him keeping him warm. He was the most gentle cat, new raised a claw to anyone and never made a sound until one morning he moaned and cried in pain. Took him immediately to the vet and he it was determined his kidneys had just shut down. Only good thing is he didn't suffer. 1623634398583.png

These are our two--Lucy is the Tortie in the background, my wife went to City Hall to pay the water bill and came back with a kitten and the Orange Tabby in front is Dublin who my wife and daughter found shivering under a bush last fall when he was a very young kitten. Lucy is an awesome cat, very talkative and comes when you call her. Dublin, is the other cat (he's a bit of an ******* sometimes, especially towards Lucy).

Here’s my new cat, Dakota. People down the street moved and left her to fend for herself. I been feeeding her since thanksgiving week and tried to bring her inside twice. Bolted out of my arms both times. Then I would call her to feed her in my yard, driveway or porch. Still not sure of the door and the horrors behind there. Last Monday temperature dropped with a good snowstorm in progress. Went down the street to feed her and she didn’t want to budge. So I picked her up and carried her in the house and bolted twice. Third time I was more aggressive, she wasn’t happy and told me so. I showed her where the food and litter box were. She hid for 6 hours and reappeared. As soon as I sat down she jumped in my lap and didnt move.

The second photo was 10 days ago in the backyard. She climbed over the back of the chair and settled in my lap without any encouragement from me.

She’s been parked in my lap tonight since I sat down and just purring away. I think she’s rather young, but not a kitten.

My boy Mouse. A friend rescued him from the road in front of her house. I was only supposed to keep him for a weekend. Here he is when I first got him at about 8 to 10 weeks old, and again this week at about 6 months.

Kudos to you for giving her a home. I HATE it when people abandon animals!

Mariel found under a neighbor's porch. She is polydactyl like the Hemingway cats hence her name as in Mariel Hemingway. She loves to get in boxes and bags.

I trained Fred (the cat) with 'Kibbles and Bits' while I was working in the garage and he would chase them when I dropped them on the floor. He was so trained on chasing the 'Kibbles' he would do the same thing whenever I dropped a nut or screw…….. Fred was the best helper around the garage.

BTW! He would NOT eat the screws or nuts.
