For the longest time since I would be there weekly and more often daily I most always bought my needed bits from the bulk bin at hardware store/lumberyard counter
#2PH, R2 sq, in 1 inch for drill bit holders and more often now in 2" length for use with the impact drivers. And a 1" T25 drive bit often came packed with the screws.
Heard good things about some Bosch bits, read a
Pro Tool test review a long time ago Bosch ribbed tip were one of the better ones.

I had the first ShockWave bits swore I wouldn't buy them again. From what understand they have been redesigned. Really like the Milwaukee bit holders and sq. adapters a lot though
So I was selling off these Dewalts last summer. I have about 25 of the 5 packs of the PH2 left right now and a few of the 5 pack of the T25. R2's are all gone
Cost me $0.55 for each pk. These were ones the before the Max Fit I think. Never got to try any yet so don't know if they're any good.
