I want to install a ceiling fan in the shop, can I "tap" into one of the electrical outlet to get my power???? sorry if this is too vague
Just a FTI. Conduit has a fill rate, make sure you haven't crammed too many wires through it. Too many wires in conduit can cause over heating.
I just went with the guage wire that was installed in my bldg12ga for a ceiling fan?
How do you plan to controll it? Did you buy a fan with a remote or something or are you just planning to use pull chain switches or something?
Mounting for a ceiling fan is very important. Make sure you use a box designed for fans and secure it well.
When you pull the plug out of the outlet, you will see extra screws on the side of the outlet. Just use a matching pair of them to run up to the ceiling. Good luck.......Ok great, thanks foe the info
