Power Washer inlet stripped

So I have a decent Honda powered power washer that is rated at 2600psi that I bought at Lowes @5yrs ago. It works great but I had a recent issue that is making it well, useless.
The water outlet, where the sprayer hose connects, is completely stripped. Somehow it got cross threaded and in the process of taking it off it took all the threads off. The hose connection is brass but the part on the pump is some sort of aluminum or pot metal. I can't just replace the threaded end as it is all one unit that bolts onto the bottom of the pump.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Is there a replacement available that has a better brass attachment? Or do I just have a really nice engine on a useless dolly?

As others have said, pic would be useful to help suggest solutions. Your post title says "inlet" and the text of your post says "outlet" The inlet is low pressure and should be a garden hose type connector while the outlet is high pressure and has a different style of connector. As one person suggested for the low pressure connector, you may be able to tap for 1/2" pipe and use adapters to get to a garden hose connnector. You may be able to do something similar for the high pressure side as well.

Inlet and outlet... I overlooked that. It's the outlet. The one where the sprayer attaches so it's high pressure. I will try and snap a pic when I get home.
I have a feeling that it's not repairable and I will have to source the entire lower half. Which ***** because I don't even know if it's a sourceable part.
