I have a power washer (Simpson with a 5 in 1 nozzle). The nozzle has a nozzle that you can rotate to a few different settings. Last time I used it there was spraying coming sideways from the nozzle. I opened it up and there is a small O ring that seals the deal and rotates to whatever setting you want. It was nearly broke in two.
I called Simpson and they said I'd need to buy a new nozzle and maybe wand.
The O-Ring has a square cross section and one of the sides has a grove around the mating surface. The dimensions are 3/8" OD 7/32" ID and 1/8" thick.
Tried the hardware store and got close with a round cross section but it did not work.
Where could one find one or a few of these O-rings? They remind me of a faucet O-Ring somehow.
I may just need to upgrade the wand to a quick connect and then get a few nozzles.
If I could find the ring I could have this fixed for a buck or two. A wand may be 20$ plus but may be the better solution.
Any help out there?
thanks
Mark
