To bad they had zero in stock. Had to take a rain check.

Out of stock in my area too. Said the truck was delayed and would be here tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the standard sockets that are 1/2 price come with lifetime warranty? I'm thinking of returning the 400 piece CT set that I got for $175 and getting these instead. Ya, the CT set comes with a bunch of other stuff, but I either already have most of it or will likely never use it. The PA sockets works out to about $120.

That's sad. I was in my local Princess Auto today, they had lots! I guess the truck started out here...

When I was in Princess Auto on Tuesday, I bought this. The plastic blades really are good. I scraped some 2 sided tape off a melamine desk in one swipe without leaving a mark. Now I just need to find a supply of those plastic blades.

The local (Victoria BC) Princess Auto had portable band saws on for $99. I can't find them on the web site so I'm not sure what they are normally.

The boxes were the bottom-rung no name brand, not even Power Fist.

Might have been this one:

I bought the standard powerfist sockets. All 12 sets. Three sockets do not fit properly on the powerfist socket holders that I bought a few weeks ago. I've noticed that the insides of most of the sockets are square just like the drive pattern while a few others are circular. The three sockets I'm having issue with are all circular centers. The circle isn't large enough to fit on the designated post. What's interesting is that some of the smaller sizes will fit, but the one that's intended to does not. I'm wondering if either the circular ones missed a station at the manufacturing plant or if I can use a drill bit without cracking the socket. The specific sizes are:
5mm deep, 1/4" drive
11mm deep, 1/4" drive
5/16" deep, 3/8" drive

Take back and upgrade to propoint?

Not a deal but I got tired of having air outlets on only one side of my shop. Seemed I was always running a hose over to me bench or my mill. Today I bought the Rapid Air master set. 100 feet of tubing and so e push pull fittings and two of let manifolds and a main manifold. Install was really easy and the set up works great. It's a little pricey at $170 but a friend of mine needs some as well since I have half the tubing and some fittings left I my buy a couple more outlet kits and do her shop as well.

For 15 bucks you really can't complain. That said, the skips would drive me nuts.

I guess if you ever need a warranty replacement that they will have to crack open a new set? Hey, if you have the powerfist 1/4" drive deep metric sockets to go with your socket holder there, can you confirm that there is the same problem I'm having in post #214. If not, then I will head back to princess auto looking for a replacement. Thanks.

I'm hoping that it's a manufacturing flaw. Doesn't really make sense that the 4mm socket fits on the 5mm post, but the 5mm socket doesn't fit in the same spot.

Bought these on clearance. Call your store and give them the SKU. My store only had one in stock. These fit a 5/8 slide hammer. For 20 bucks, you cannot lose.

I'm going to quote myself on this. There is a good reason to put all the items you're looking for in your wish list on the PA site. This item wasn't listed and staff didn't even know it was on sale/clearance. The only reason i knew, was looking at it in my wish list.

Over here, we get sale prices a day before, I always go to beat the crowds and to get best selection, was there today.

You buggers! I called in today and they didn't even have stock yet. They said it was coming in late tonight.

^^ LOL, usually by 6-7pm the store is stocked with next day sale items, they might not have the sale stickers on them, but ring up at the cashier with the sale price

I'll have to try that next time. I go to the Mississauga store, which one do you use?
I've made a couple of visits to the new store on Woodbine just south of HWY 7, at 10:00 am on a Saturday, the place is almost empty.
