Good idea!

I bought one of these in 09:

It's held up really well. I keep it in my truck with some basic hand tools. I also use it if I need to take home a few of my tools from work, or a junkyard run etc. Not too many pockets so you can't find anything, but enough so you can keep it a little organized. There's inside pockets as well.

Bought a step drill bit from there as well. Lasted longer than I thought. It's still in my toolbox today and I bought it about a year ago. Drilled ALOT of holes with it.

Bought a couple of these Goodyear air hoses for work. I like them alot. They don't coil themselves up like the stupid PVC hoses that I always trip over. Nice and soft.

Pass: Impact wheel nut flip socket. Had one for about 10 years and recently lost it. I replaced it with another.

Pass: Nylon tool bags. These are probably over 5 years old and have been well used. They hold up great.

I had a few of these I bought on sale for about 6 bucks. FAIL One had the stitching come out for the zipper, two wore through the bottom in a few weeks.

FAIL 5 pc 1/4" & 3/8" dr Extension Bars - These had no detents to hold them on your ratchet.

PASS 7 pc 3/8" dr SAE Universal Joint Socket Set - No problems in two years.

Pass: THis is a well used "el cheapo" Chinese floor jack. Cost less than $100 as I recall, but that was a while back. Never had any problems so far.

All the following are a PASS.

the air chisel I have used mine for over 10 years mainly on concrete

http://www.princessauto.com/pal/product/3407186/Straight/1/4"-Air-Die-Grinder
http://www.princessauto.com/pal/product/8344137/3/8-Inch/3/8"-Butterfly-Impact-Wrench
http://www.princessauto.com/pal/product/3405420/Air-Hammer-Kits/8-pc-Air-Hammer-KitI also have a Brad nailer/stapler, 3/8 in impact air cut-off tool that are no longer on the website but I have owned them for over ten years without problems. My 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch drive impacts are all 15 years old including the flex drive ones and I have used them extensively without problems.

The brake line flaring tools are junk - I bought a snap-on one in the end.

I like the Princess Auto wrench racks - the black plastic ones with the handle and 3 magnets. They go for about $8 each. I cut the handles and magnets off and trim the racks to length based on the number of wrenches I am storing. I use my table saw for the cutting and trimming. It works great.

Been in service for 3+ years, trouble-free, used it in the garage, in the dirt and trackside.

Handle removes/installs with a thumbscrew and can be broken down further with a single bolt. Light enough to pack in the trunk of a Mustang to the drag strip for installing slicks, heavy enough to lift a full sized pick-up.

As I frequent London, ON a LOT, I have spent a lot of time in PA. Its WAY better than HF. It seems CA won't let as much **** to be sold in Canada as in the States. In fact the one on Exeter Rd has Devilbliss air compressors. I forsee much more "PASS" here than "FAIL."

What brings you to the Forest City? Funny, I hardly ever go to PA.

Many people have told me the Princess has a very good return policy.

I like the aluminum socket rail. They come in two colors red and blue. Do they sell additional clips for them? Lowes in the US has a similar socket rail but it is shorter but has the same number of socket clips. What they do is put socket clips on both sides of the rail. That was why I was asking if they sold additional clips because you could add them to the other side of the rail and have a compact organizer for 24 sockets.

I took a brass hammer back that I used as a drift and destroyed it, replaced no questions asked

Last week I watched a guy get five pipe wrenches replaced. All big ones and all but one were broken halfway down the handle. Right where the scratches from the cheater stopped. :lol_hitti

I actually spend way to much money at this store, it's great, i generally use it now for simple tools or stuff that i can't justify spending big money on.

I had a set of their wrenches, have to set i was very very impressed with them, great quality, decently strong and took a good beating.

I have a pro point 40oz mini sledge, works great, great quality. I put it through a decent amount of abuse and it just keeps taking it.

A few smaller pry bars from there, i don't like to put to much stress of them but they seem to hold up well.

By far the most impressive is my 1/2" impact swivel, that thing takes a hell of a beating, lasted me two years of heavy abuse before it blew up, replaced it and it's still going strong almost a year later. Couldn't justify 30$ on a snap on one.

I have a whole bunch of random stuff to, blow gun, seal puller, fuel line disconnects simple things which get the job done ok.

I think the only thing i really have complaints about is my fuel line disconnects, they aren't really long enough so its a struggle to use them sometimes. Everything else has done me pretty well. Most of my PA stuff is home tools now, im slowly upgrading all my work tools but they still take a good beating.

Seal puller - Fail!!

Tried to use it this week pulling a rear diff pinion seal out and the puller pretty much exploded on me. It was the princess auto brand not the propoint one.

I only used mine once to pull the front diff seal, worked well

Second that. Mines never failed in any way. No problem picking up my full size chev. Used the handle as a snipe many times. Had it sone '08
