So I've painted the walls, new lighting, workbench and non pressboard shelving installed. Time for the floor. After reviewing the threads on this forum ( one of the best decisions I've made), I've ordered samples and requested quotes from the suppliers mentioned. I'm looking at the open tiles as suggested by one of the main players as I have a floor drain. So I have some questions. 1) do I needed or should I seal the floor prior to the install? I live in NJ and the floor will get wet from the elements and washing the vehicles. 2) should I "color" the floor prior to the install as you can see through the tiles? 3) do they squeak when you walk on them? If so how do I prevent that?
Thanks in advance from the newbie......
David
