Redheads are a nice vintage USA tool, think Bonney, P&C, or New Britain haha.

This is the problem in the past with Grainger.

I just sent them an email and was told maybe May. I purchased early in this thread.

Got an email from Grainger today saying delivery won't be until April 30 or the first week in May. This was after being told in a chat session that I could expect delivery on or before April 2. Not a problem. For that price I can wait quite a while.

For those that received them, what shipping provider did they use?

I ordered two before the first reply to this thread and have heard nothing other than receiving a 3/16 shipping date.. I will not be contacting them either.

My first set came via UPS. I ordered just a few minutes after the OP posted and created an account at the time of ordering. Mine shipped from Atlanta and the manufacture date on the sticker inside says 2/07/2018. I have heard nothing regarding the second set I ordered hours after the first.

Grainger just cancelled my order for 3 sets.
I called them and was able to get them to make the order active again at the same price since I had not requested that it be cancelled. She said there was some issue with the store I had chosen to pick it up at so I had them change it to shipping at an additional cost. She said a lot of people ordered the product and it will be a while before it ships.

Why shouldn't they? There are people taking advantage of an obvious mistake and ordering dozens of them. The surprising thing is that they haven't cancelled all the orders.

By the way, if you bother to read the post he says they reinstated it which I guess reflects well on them even though it still doesn't make good business sense. Anybody taking advantage of this mistake is NOT Grainger's target buyer.

I hope you get it--you found it.

One of the people getting multiples should make sure you do.

It's not your fault some people are taking advantage of the situation.

I called and they said 4 of my 9 sets were on back order but the other 5 were in process so I could expect them sometime end of April.

The next one of you that feels the compulsion to “Im gonna call them and find out where MY nine sets are”......please,
take a deep breath
remind yourself you have ZERO money hanging, you haven’t been charged
head for the pawn shop and buy a single vintage USA socket to fondle to take the edge off

STOP drawing attention to this pricing error, sheesh

I almost feel like the line of thinking of some people is- if you hound, pester, continuously and repeatedly and thoroughly make it a point to consciously POUND in the point to the seller ( Grainger) and their employees that the circumstances that have caused them to undoubtedly take a hit, loss, at the least a decrease in profit each and every time one of these sets is packaged and shipped. That this will encourage a promptness and eagerness to expedite the multitude of them as rapidly and courteously as possible due to impatience? Ya right
