lol, I was only half serious/testing the waters, otherwise I would have mentioned specifics.
If Elroy didn't want to help out, he could/would have just said that they didn't have any. Like, when a hobo on the street or train asks for a dollar and someone doesn't want to give, they say, sorry don't got. Rarely does anyone open up their wallet, peer around, and then say sorry don't got, unless they were prepared to give something.
Although in college I did do that once or twice to give a friend or acquaintance the appearance that I wanted to help them out but couldn't.
I think that this case is more analagous to that of the hobo. Me = the hobo, Elroy = the guy who opens wallet willing to give but couldn't find anything there. Although, technically I'm a hobo that would have liked 5 singles for a $5, or four $5s for a $20, or four quarters for a $1.
Hmm, next analogy someone else is going to have to be the hobo.
Thank you Mr. Elroy anyways, and thank you Mr. Wrenchr for defending me? Come to think of it. Mr. Wrenchr, this is all YOUR fault. Offering and selling your spare 3/8 Big Dawg got me hooked. =P (Thanks again)
