******* showed up a half hour before the excavator. He's well regarded locally, has done a lot of work out here (did the footings and slabs for the houses on both sides of me)You know it’s serious when there is a ******* delivered!
The ravens up at the house in Flagstaff swing by daily to see what might be on the “Roof Top Deli”! Fun to watch them hop around and then finally ****** the treat and fly away, with two or three other ravens trying to steal the rooftop rat!
I feel like the spinning water bottle is going to be treated like one of those gyro lamb and beef tubes.lol
Finally got the packrat that has been rearranging my shop. The bucket trap was a dismal failure, a big old-fashion Victor Rat Trap did the trick.
Well, the footing pour scheduled for today didn't happen. The concrete guy "forgot" to call for the inspection on Friday.. Tomorrow is Veterans Day, so it looks like Wednesday at the earliest before we see any concrete.

I was pretty pumped about how fast they were moving. He told me he had called for the inspection on Friday before the crew left.Sigh....and so it begins. A bit of Jack in that diet coke is a good blend, and settles the nerves!
Trust but verify....I was pretty pumped about how fast they were moving. He told me he had called for the inspection on Friday before the crew left.
The old adage of "It only takes one awshit to negate a dozen attaboys" certainly comes to mind here.
Tony, we did find something interesting."You sleighed it" on that sleigh, that will make for some great photos at the Christmas party.
The new garage is going to be awesome! I'm just wondering if your contractor found any of the lost Dutchmen's gold while digging those footers![]()
Almost back flushed my nose with coffee there.Tony, we did find something interesting.
(Remember I have a degree in Geology that I never used... until Friday)
I held up a particularly fine specimen that came up out of the excavation and identified it as an Arizona *** Rock. When he asked to examine it he didn't see anything particularly unique about it. I told him it was just a ******* rock.

Clearly, Scott is using the correct ratio of Jack, in his Diet Coke!Almost back flushed my nose with coffee there.

Wow! The view out the window will be gorgeous! I'd want to look out that all day long, wouldn't get any work done....

Powdercoat was a lot more $$ than I expected. Seems the coating on the Chinese chandelier parts was really difficult to strip. He ended up chemically dipping, sandblasting and priming to get the powder coat to lay down properly. That view is incredible and the sleigh looks great with some color on it. Looking forward to seeing it put together.

So your elf days are over?Powdercoat was a lot more $$ than I expected. Seems the coating on the Chinese chandelier parts was really difficult to strip. He ended up chemically dipping, sandblasting and priming to get the powder coat to lay down properly.
But, it looks great and my bride will be thrilled with the finished product. And, at tte end of the day that's what really matters. Only going to do this once.
⁷⁸Oh that would truly ****!Ya that’s not an oops, that’s a trend. Screwed up part is those footers better be clean before placing over them. Hopefully this storm doesn’t become a gully washer.
