I am working on my john deere 7220 tractor 3 point ram. Both the top and bottom of the ram has a heim joint with a large (maybe 1-1/4") the end of the pin has a female m10 thread in it. To me it looks like their must be a puller that threads into the pin and pulls the pin out. I am familiar with a slide hammer and thread attachement but is their a better tool for this application. Thanks to all the great garge journal members

Bolt and slide hammer. I keep a few 5/8 UNF coupling nuts if I need to weld them together

Threaded rod and a bridge to span over the pin. Slide hammer may work, but your getting into a more serious force needed situation with that size pin.
