I am working on my john deere 7220 tractor 3 point ram. Both the top and bottom of the ram has a heim joint with a large (maybe 1-1/4") the end of the pin has a female m10 thread in it. To me it looks like their must be a puller that threads into the pin and pulls the pin out. I am familiar with a slide hammer and thread attachement but is their a better tool for this application. Thanks to all the great garge journal members

Can you use a stud, nut, and a stack of washers to pull it out? A picture would help.

Little pin like that slide hammer is method of choice. Bigger pins often have bigger threaded holes for hardened threaded rod to be used with hollow center hydraulic rams to pull seized pins.
