I sort of like it, but think it's a little out of character considering where it's built. I've been to New Orleans & love the architecture there & the use of colors like that, but I also like to see things blend in with the area a lot better than that does. The people interviewed that are complaining are not good neighbors & I'm glad they don't live near me. They claim their property value dropped.......LOL
Would I do that? Probably not. Would I complain about it? Definitely not.
I have a neighbor on my street that works full time & has his own landscaping business that he runs from his home. He's married, has 2 small kids & busts his ****. He put up a "Cover-It" style temporary garage to keep his equipment in & repair it, but he still has lots of stuff outside. The temporary garage is starting to show wear & tear & it isn't pretty.
I don't enjoy looking at it or the beat up dump truck or the Bobcat on a trailer he has in his driveway, but so what? He's been fixing his house up & does as much as he can. The house looks better than it did when he got it through a foreclosure 10 years ago & he's a decent guy which is much more important to the neighborhood.
