Quality reciprocating saw blades?

Hey guys. My Milwaukee axe blades leave a lot to be desired. I go through them rather quickly. I'm going to be taking down a handicap ramp soon and would like to buy some new blades. I mostly use longer blades, 9". What's recommended? I'll be using my Milwaukee m18 fuel sawzall.

I asked the guys at the volunteer fire department where i grew up. They use Lennox found them a hell of a lot better than some Dewalt I had purchased. But the Dewalt case was pretty good. I’ve also.had pretty good luck with Bosch.

From home center stock you can't beat the Diablo carbide steel demon blades, IMO. I cut a lot of rusted fasteners and some stock and get more life out of them than the Lenox or Dewalt. I try to cut with the forward portion. As it dulls cut it back with a cutoff wheel.

X2 on the Lennox. Best I’ve found. Diablo makes some good blades but I haven’t tried their recip blades yet

Lennox again. Been my go-to recip, jigsaw and hacksaw blade brand since the late '70s.

I've also had good luck HF's Warrior brand recip blades (both metal and wood).

If your not happy with the ax blades, I would go with the carbide diablos. I personally love the ax blades, but will also use Bosch, Lennox and dewalt

I use the Diablo carbide. Spendy but I'm a lazy ******* and these get the job done without unnecessary grunting.

I like Diablo carbide (Diablo/Freud are owned by Bosch). My neighbor, a master plumber, uses Lenox (part of SBD) and recommends them highly.

For metal cutting Diablo Steel Demon blades. I use them all the time for demoing rigid conduit, and I recently had to cut the steel bumper on a ram pickup truck to get it out of the tires. Two clean cuts, dead straight with a cordless sawzall in a couple of minutes.

Freud or Diablo (can’t remember which right off and I’m not at home) or Milwaukee seem to be all I use. I know some guys love the Lennox stuff, but I’ve never gotten to try them out at length. At the end of the day they’re all expendable wear items, so I don’t worry too much about them when they **** the bed finally.

Lenox gold. I have used in limited usage the German-made ones HJE sells without any issues.

+1 on Frued, Diablo or Bosch. Make sure the blade is made in Switzerland or Italy. I recently saw a Milwaukee blade made in Switzerland

I have had good luck with the MK Morse Carbide blades when cutting steel. They make nice big chips and cut fast.

Ive always found Milwaukee blades to be quite good. Id probably go Diablo though, if you arent happy with the Milwaukees.
