Who makes a quality triple square set? I was looking at a Cornwell and a MAC set. These are not super common and I would like a set that I can depend not to break leaving me with a half finished job.

You mean a combination square set?
The only combination square I have ever heard of is a type of carpenter's square.
Anyway, to answer the OP. I have a Blue-Point set that has been doing pretty well for me, no complaints at all. Triple squares are pretty strong just by their design, so I think as long as you're not going with the cheapest **** you can find, you'll be all good![]()
I have Mac stubby set and VIM long set. I've broken 2 or 3 of the Mac's, the VIM's seem a lot stronger and better quality.
MAC Taiwan bit socket sets are sourced from VIM...
My 2 sets are completely different. The macs are all 1 piece, the vim's are a 2 piece.
That's not the same ones. My macs are several years old, chrome with a black triple square end. Not sure if they are usa or not.
Ah, all the current sets in blow mold cases are essentially 1:1 copies of VIM sets. I don't think they ever had any triple square sockets made in the USA, at least not made in house (they do make some of their own hex/torx sockets).
