I'm adding a utility sink to my garage. I need a 3 x 3 x 1.5 wye to tie into an existing 3" drain line.
In terms of shape and size, both of these appear to be what I need:

The wye in the Home Depot link seems to have some sort of perforated edge at the 1.5" opening, whereas the wye in the Lowes link does not appear to have the perforated edge.
Can anybody tell me what the difference between the two is, and why I would pick one over the other?
I also note that the two items appear to have a similar (if not the same) model number, so perhaps they are identical items and the Home Depot link is just a weird picture?
Thanks for any input.

I have no idea why, but I was thinking you meant the fittings in the pic were a type of vented trap setup. :tard:
