Question about Lift and Bottle Jacks

Has anybody here used the BendPak system with the slider trays and a Air powered Bottle Jack? I have just purchased my dream garage and I am putting a BP lift in, looking at the options for when I need to do suspension or tire work and I don't want to crank on the jack by hand.

I am thinking about running 4 of these jacks back to a control panel and just pushing a button to jack up 2 or 4 all at the same time.

It says min height is 8.5 inches, i am worried about clearance.

thoughts?

I don't think so, I've seen Previous threads on this subject and it seems to always come down to finding a Jack that will fit the bill clearance wise. IRC the OEM jacks/setup is Very expensive. As far as running a Panel to control multiple Jacks during the Lift cycle.. Eh.. Are you talking about controlling the Air or Hydraulic portion of the Jack to get it elevated? Im assuming the Air side, Since you opted for a Air Over jack, But then you are still gonna need to manually drop each jack when you ready to lower it down. While a Good Idea.. The odds of each jack lifting in Uniform with this style of Air/Over is sketchy at best. Ill see if I can find those previous threads to help with your issue.

ok, thanks for the reply, i have done a bunch of reading here on these threads and I have decided to spend the extra money and get a RJ-45 with the BP so that I am doing it the right way, safely, then putting Jack Stands under and moving to the back. It's worth the extra money to be done safely and properly.

I'll post pictures after my install is complete. Thanks for the links.

I have done it with air bottle jack it works pretty good, needed 2 stage raising / 2 stage lowering at times because the ram travel is short, but, the air raising action is easy to control.

You can get that monster center bridge jack hopefully there is a good way to get it out of the way when you need to access something from underneath. A bit too pricey and too much in the way compared to a center tray and little bottle jack, IMO
