Its been 9 years ago since I installed my Mitsubishi, without pulling the covers I am pretty sure they were mueller line sets. The factory flares on most of those chinese minisplit linesets are very poor. I installed a Senville unit for a friend, and one flare shared off before torque was achieved, and another failed months later with a leak.
I got a bundled kit with some Mitsubishi minisplits, and the linesets were actually made in the USA, and those flares were good. Been holding up like 4 years later with no issue.
FWIW: I always pressure test at 400 PSI for 24 hours.
They are very good and worth the extra money to buy over the Chinese ones. They bend much easier without kinking as well. They include nice flares and seem softer so making new flares when shortening are easier.
The last gree mini I bought paid 58 dollars more for the mueller line set at supply house over the ones that the gree dealer was selling
