I have a question about replacing the plunger seal in my sears 328.12001 floor Jack... This Jack was given to me but it will not stay up at all, even with no weight on it. I've tried to bleed and refill the oil and the problem still exists. My next thought is to replace the plunger seal because it appears to be leaking a tiny bit. I'm trying to avoid an entire rebuild/seal kit replacement and just find the faulty seal and deal with it. My question is, do I have to tear the whole thing down just to replace the plunger seal, or is it possible to just take the plunger out and do it that way? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
