There will be a 2 burner Empava induction cooktop which draws 1800 watts @120v, a small Vissani fridge that draws less than 1 amp, split draws less than 8 amps, lighting is negligible, fan on composting toilet. Perhaps a GE Profile heat pump washer/dryer combination unit (11 amps@120v). The water heater is all that is left to figure out.Is anyone aware of a small heat pump water heater? 40 gallon way too big.

Have you considered propane?

DB60 is new to me... Looks to be PVC and available down to 2". What's the advantage over Sch 40 PVC? It's 20' pcs (at least where I found it) so less joints. Is it cheaper? Can you use the same end fittings?

I learned some interesting things about Carlon DB60 here.

Looks like the main differences are thinning and not approved for most situations people here need conduit for here. It can be used for protection of direct burial cable that doesn't require conduit. For the OP this could be used if they aren't worried about inspections but might be just as cheap to use the readily available sch 40 stuff.

Unless you are putting the xhhw-2 conductors in schedule 40 conduit, you can only use MHF or USE type conductors for direct burial.

Wire&Cable is $679.21 with discounts and tax. Disadvantage is only available in black...not really a big deal.Nassau has reached out and offered a similar discount also. I am checking WESCO and Gilman today. No one carries DB60 in Maine that I can find....so that option is dead. 1 1/2" sch40 conduit and XHHW-2 it is.

I bet Gilman is cheaper.

Have them quote the PVC too.
