I have some old broken SO wrenches and extensions that I've acquired over time and I'm wondering since I never bought them from SO directly, will they warranty the tools?

Depends if your driver likes you or not.

Drop a couple grand with him, sure, he'll get those replaced no problem. Just walk up to him with these 5 wrenches and he'll probably slap them out of your hand and then bang your wife.

Lol guess if that's the case then I won't be getting anything replaced, last shop I was at for Co-op there was no SO driver, and I'm getting ready to start Co-op at a new shop so haven't met the driver yet

OP, these guys are right and it's just not acceptable to see a fellow GJ'r burdened with those **** *** broken SO POS's. Since I'm such a giver the best thing for you to do is send them to me and I will replace them with the all mighty HF professional series at no cost to you. :p

My point is, develop a personal relationship with the driver if you think you'll be in this industry for more than a month. There are the stated policies, but they are intended to weed out those who would abuse a lifetime warranty policy. No driver will treat a paying customer poorly.

You can also reach out to a driver if your driver *****, and buy/sell across territory lines. :willy_nil Just do it after business hours.

When I start at the new shop, I'll try to befriend the tool truck driver and see what happens, not like I'm losing if I can't warranty the tools

If your local driver won't warranty them just call Snap On directly - they will. My driver handled a socket for me (through another tech in my shop since I'm on a later shift and never see the driver). Not all of us can afford to "make friends" with our Snappy guy tho.
