I have a 2016 Ford Explorer Limited 2WD, which is a pretty good vehicle except when it has problems. Which is often, because it was engineered by crackheads.
I have a motor oil drip which is very slow, and based on the best look I could get with an endoscope, I think it's the oil pressure sensor sender, which tends to unscrew itself due to crackhead engineering. Getting to this thing means a lift or using jackstands. I don't know how to jack the whole front end to put it on stands.
I have been considering getting a lift for a long time, but I am cheap. I'm starting to think my desire to avoid aggravation may overcome my cheapness, and I may go ahead and buy something.
I would want something that will pick up the Ford as well as a 2007 Ram 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins and the long bed.
Has anyone here actually tried putting this particular truck on a Quickjack or Maxjax? I was thinking these lifts might be okay. I don't want something that will be permanently screwed to the floor. I kind of like the Maxjax because you can sit while working. Sitting is one of my favorite things.
Also, is there any way to get a tractor or a diesel zero-turn on either of these lifts? I have a Kubota L3710 and a Kubota ZD326, and I am considering getting a John Deere 4720.
