Does anyone have a recommendation on a quiet gas/diesel powered 7.5 HP hydraulic pump? Save wear and tear on running a piece of equipment just for the hydraulic pump.
Electric motor is hardwired at the clinic. Are you running the pump that silencer sells currently? Silencer/moly mfg require the pressure relief to be set to a certain pressure. If your chute is portable, then I understand the reason for an engine powered unit. However, if you have already got an electric motor running the hydraulics, a large generator (12kw I think is advised) is another option. My Silencer runs off a 6.5 hp Honda powered pump from Silencer, which they offer separately if you were unaware. It is plenty loud, but with some extra hoses, I can usually place I behind a truck or trailer to muffle the sound.
