Does it even matter which model it is??? For $125 you better be on your way to get it.

At first glance I'm guessing it's a 325

Sure looks like a 325 to me too. Rather old with that style hydraulic unloaded on the Side of the crankcase.
Best compressor under 7.5 HP ever made.

I'll pay 300 for that setup even though that motor looks like fast spinning 3450rpm.

Those Quincy pumps makes SB705 and other centrifugal unloaders types pump (curtis, champion, etc...) a POS. nothing is like those QR-25 series pump

That's exactly like finding a cheap Wilton bullet vise

there should be a data place under the air filter on the crankcase with the model number and the revision number.... I'm saying 325 also and I'm sure it's not a 310 like mine..

buy it... and drag it home... it will never leave and that ain't enough motor for it

Grab it. I recently missed out on a 325 with tank and 5 HP motor for $100. Saw it on Craigslist but waited until I got home from work to call. The guy said he was tired of dealing with CL buyers and scrapped it an hour earlier.

I picked it up this morning. Tag says ROC 11. I knew the motor wouldn't be any good for this pump. 3hp 3450rpm. Also picked up a nice Walker 4ton jack. Paid $150 for both. Pics coming later. Going to look at a house with a 50x90 shop now.

Like others have said. It looks like a 325. I have a similar compressor at home that is a ROC 4. They look slightly different but close enough. Mine came without a motor and I debated what size to get. I got a 5 hp because there wasn't much of a cost difference. The 3 HP will work just fine. At lease according to this site http://www.mesaequipment.com/Html/Products/Quincy/qr25_basic.html

I just downloaded the spec sheet from Quincy and they show 3-5hp for a 325. I thought you could use a 7.5hp with it, but Quincy shows 3-5. I may keep the motor for now and make sure I have the correct pulley.

Good deal on the jack but its more of a "made in USA" factor than usefulness, it's too big or long. Modern jacks are much shorter and lower profiles

I actually prefer a the long form factor. I only have trucks, and all but one is 4WD, so these work better.

Not all of us work on small cars. I'd gladly trade my modern small jack for that.

Bought a 5hp Baldor new take off yesterday for $200. Has a pulley on it but I need to find out what size I need. I have a few 5spl motors but this true 5hp is double the weight of those and longer. It even has grease zerks front and back.

For any of those QR-25 series pump, you definitely want to get a top-notch motor. The top-notch motor to couple with that 325 is the US-made Baldor 5HP 1750RPM (not the 3450RPM).

If you got the 1750RPM, you'll need a new pulley. google RPM pulley calculator and you can figure out from there.

Another reason to use 1750RPM is if you have a vertical tank and the motor and pump sits close, you want a big motor pulley for good contact.
