Holy ****! I've been wanting to do something like that for ages. Like to know what simulator software he uses and what wheel and pedals!
Nice setup. I have done something similar for my son, though I'm not handy enough to actually build the seat/table. The one thing I did do myself was add a seat shaker system to it. It's pretty simple and amazingly cheap, so it might be a good addition to your setup. The shaker pucks are $13 each and the T-amp is $24 from parts express. This gives pretty realistic shaking over rough roads or on impact (the effect varies a bit per game depending on how they've set up the audio):

This is a one-off these guys built, if it were enclosed with the 3 screens the sensation would be indistinguishable from being in the actual car.
Very interesting thread so far... I like the idea of motion feedback.. The shakers get you a little closer..

is the Logitech wheel that one that has like 2+ turns lock to lock?
