Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. I have been procrastinating for a long time on which type of garage floor tiles to go with, however after reading this forum I have almost made my mind up to go with Racedeck Freeflow or Freeflow XL.

One outstanding consideration is if the Freeflow tiles are good for Motorcycle kick stands?

Has anyone had experience in this area?

Regards

Based on my experience with a heavy floor jack and a rolling tool chest, anything heavier than a 125cc dirt bike is likely to leave an indentation. Just use a little scrap of wood to distribute the weight. I had a buddy that picked up some hard porcelain tile samples from a supply house for just such a purpose.

I have the RD solid tiles and my Harley's kickstand will scratch the floor. Just use something under the kickstand and you'll be ok.

Many thanks to you all for your responses.

I going to give the Racedeck Freeflow a try and see how it stands up to the Harley.

Not really an issue. Can I see where the kickstand is on the floor? Yes. Does it leave a bad indent? No. I think it all depends on how perfect you want it to remain. If its all for show, then put a rubber pad under the kickstand. If its a working garage, it won't make enough of a mark to bother you. I have a KTM 690 and BMW R1200GS atop my RaceDeck floor.
