Racedeck questions, Snap-Carpet, edging, etc!

I'm about to pull the trigger on some Racedeck and just had some questions that I know those that have it can suggest. I have the layout and color all set. I have a 24' wide by 32' deep 2 bay garage. I'm going with Royal Blue Diamonds perimeter with Alloy Free-Flows and some Royal Blue free flows transitioning. I have a 2 post lift on the left that's fairly far forward and 4 post lift that is close to garage door with just enough room to fit ramps on.

I'm considering going with their Snap-Carpet too for just my entry way by the man door. Has anyone used it in their garage? It seems some heavy use, but by no means commercial traffic. I currently have a door mat there now, but with the Racedeck sample down, I have no room for a carpet on top.

Also, any reason not to go with the blue edging? I figured it would look better matched.

We sell a lot of tile and a lot of RaceDeck. Here are my immediate thoughts:

• Black edges: They are the leading edge where the tires ramp up. Tire marks will show less.
  
• Carpet Tile: Love it for small areas. Takes foot traffic well. Would not use in areas with heavy fluids or auto use.
  
• Diamond / Free Flow Combo: A lot of people do it. I just have a mental block and would go with free flow or ribbed tiles throughout. Why? In my mind, if my garage has a slope and all the **** runs off my car and under the ribbed tile and flows under the diamond tile, how do I clean it?? If its all ribbed, I can wash or vac right through it

Carpet area is just going to get used in entryway for 6-9 squares. Looks like I’ll be seeing if I regret my plan. Going to have them in next week or two.
