Rick, I just received this and was thinking how am I going to mount it. So I strolled through your thread again.... Command mounting strips....why didn't I think of that! Glad I came to the right place.
Thanks for the great idea!

Question: Hey, where'd you get those rods you hang your cleaning supplies on?Just kidding. I think I may have read that very question at least a dozen times and each time, you answered very politely. Well done!
Well, it took some time, but I finally made it through all 71 pages. It was worth it. I am amazed at the attention to detail you have and your space is quite phenomenal. With all of the Craftsman gear you have, you should be the Sears poster-boy or get some sort of advertising kickback from them.

Also, awesome job on the website. I love it.
From one Audi lover to another, you have great tastes in cars and the paint, decor and gear in your garage will be an inspiration to me for my shop that I hope to get started soon.
I love the SQ5. Being an avant lover with a family, it's the perfect combo of sport and utility. I'm looking at the Q5 as my next car, but have two teenagers that will be driving soon. So, that may be a while. I too have 20" Peelers on my C6 A6, but they are on all year round since our winters aren't very harsh in OK.
Again, thanks for the inspiration. Cheers![]()
Rick,
Awesome video. Great to see you and the garage in action!

Nice Rick! Audi fan here too!
Great video Rick! Really makes me want to go out and put the polisher on all my cars. They need it. The reverse water effect was pretty cool![]()
Truly amazing video - so inspiring to see how you work through the car..... Well done!
Nice job. Never seen steam used on the upholstery and dash. Is there no issues with the electronics?
Lol, funny watching Ghost as the wax was curing.
Awesome space Rick. Took many evenings to get through it but now I'm caught up and am well versed in cleaning race deck along with knowing what isle at ikea to get the rails![]()
Have you considered installing a Murphy bed and running a Bed-and-breakfast on the side ?- I think you would have plenty of takers.
Anyway a great read and now that kids are asleep I'm going to audit my detailing supplies
Cheers Grumblebum.
What an amazing garage sir!
Well done!![]()
Hey, if anyone has ever thought, "Gee, I have 10 minutes to spare, I wish I could watch a video of a guy washing his Audi SQ5 in his garage", I have just the video for you! LOL
I'm pretty proud of this one. It shows the process I follow to wash a dirty car in my garage. Check it out here, if you dare.
I confess I’ve never had such a thought, SQ5 or not.
But I watched it because you dared me.
Now I can only say I will quietly slink away and hope nobody here sees my wife’s 2001 Audi allroad in person.
At least not until I can get another bucket….
Extremely well done video and detailing.
Nice job! I just subscribed to you YouTube channel. I have to say, you're cars are lucky to have you as their owner.
Questions: Would using a shop vac on it's blower setting work as a blow dryer? What is the stuff you used on the tires (@ 8:10)
Rick,
Great job on the video. I enjoyed the background music, and you did a thorough job of cleaning your car (as I knew you would). Though I did notice you weren't wearing vans this time.![]()
Just wanted to thank you for the video, really helps in learning the steps and seeing the accessoires in action![]()
Glad you watched it, and now I dare you to go wash your wife's Allroad!
Thanks, now I'm toast. I've been double dared and now I have to watch the video again to make sure I do it right.
Something for this Saturday--the other projects can wait another week. The old girl (I mean car!) deserves a little spiffing up.
Great vid. Was that salt crud from last winter?
Glad you watched it, and now I dare you to go wash your wife's Allroad!
I thought I would just post up a couple pics of the current vehicles that get housed in my garage:

Salt crud from last winter? Sometimes, it's like you don't know me at all...lol
No, it's just your ordinary road dirt that plagues my very existence. Looks nastier on camera than it really is.
