I got my 7000SLX Quickjack the other day and got everything hooked up and did a dry run lift to half height and check for leaks. No leaks....that's a good start! Doesn't really go down too easily without weight. Will do a lift tomorrow or Friday. Might have to bleed the cylinders again.
I really like the fact that the bottoms of the lifts are flat, and won't leave dimples in my Racedeck. Earlier versions I saw had small feet on the bottoms of the lifts, so I was happy to see my unit doesn't have them. Looks like yours doesn't either, so they must have done away with them.
Love the QuickJack's! Very nice.
Do the QuickJacks safely lock in place so you don't need jackstands? I'm considering them myself.
The garage looks great! I've used it for inspiration for my own double.
Would it be possible for you to move to a new house so that you can start over? I miss all your updates. Maybe a new brand of car and color just for the fun of it?

Your blog looks great also.
Thanks for the update.
Love the videos!!!
amazing videos ... wow! Love the soft bristle brush collection .. need to get me some of those!
How does the water from the wash get out? just rince and it goes under the race deck?
Did you get the Kranzle?
It's funny how just a garage can "inspire" people. Yes I am one of those people. My garage is cleaner and more organized because of you. It's nowhere near your caliber but it works for now.

If I put the same effort into detailing my fleet that you just put in to editing that video, I could win awards.
Amazing.... Inspiring... if you have a paint by numbers or how-to guide, I would be all over it.
BTW I saw a Zaino sticker on one of your cabinets. I still use it from back in my car show days but I'm not sure if they are still "the best".

Nice work Rick. Solid results.
I really like that Master Blaster you've got there. I also like the 'soaping' attachments you are using on your air compressor. Since you are in Canada, I know these toys must at least be accessible to me!
If you ever want to host a Calgary GJ Members workshop on how to detail a vehicle, I'll bring the beer and the donor vehicle![]()

Wow Rick, more attention to detail (why am I not surprised?),it turned out great!
But I noticed, there were no Vans in any of the pictures?![]()
