Radiant heated slab insulation

Currently working on getting the plastic and foam down to start on the pex. Using 2" r-10 foam on the inside up against the grade boards between the posts. I also have 2" r-10 foam on the outside of the structure up against the grade boards going down a couple of feet. Would it bebeneficial to wrap the columns with the foam or just a waste of time? Couple pictures to show first corner inside and foam outside

I used 1" foam to isolate my poles from the slab. You really need too for heat loss and slab isolation.

Thank you, i'll plan to put some up and cut at 45 on top so it doesn't show past concrete

I wouldn't focus too much effort on it. The thermal conductivity of tin is 67.....steel is 43......yellow pine is .015. There won't be much heat loss through that wood. A simple thin thermal break will be sufficient.
