After months of putting it off, I broke down and ordered a MaxJax yesterday. It's already shipped
I am looking forward to not wrenching on my back anymore. I'm not getting any younger.
Background: Garage door is standard new home construction 16'x7', Wayne Dalton, with Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster torque springs. Garage ceiling height is 13'. There are garage storage racks 24" about the current door tracks that I want to keep.
I'd like to raise the tracks the 24" to get them directly under the garage racks. That would be enough height so I could open the door with either the E36 or E46 all the way up on the MaxJax.
Any thoughts on the easiest way to do this. Most of what I can find on-line are really dealing with conventional spring doors, not this TorqueMaster style.
Thanks!
Glenn
