Thanks for the help. I picked one up this weekend. It was marked $65 on clearance and then rang up for $49.99. I was just about to pull the trigger from Amazon before I saw this thread.

I finally have all of my stuff together for mine. I think I went beyond my compressors abilities and my needs.
- Maxline M7500 3/4 kit
- 2 Legacy Flexzilla 3/8 30' reels
- 1 HF 20 ft reel
- All Legacy Flexzilla high flow couplers and fittings.

Plan is 3 drops one in each corner of the garage by garage doors, 30' reels, and the 20' in the front. My Husky 30gal compressor only has the 1/4 out through the pressure switch and regulator. That's why I say system is more than compressor can deliver. No bung or fitting on the tank, so that's not an option.

Hopefully there will not be any issues by going from the 1/4 up to 3/4.

I am right there with you! My craftsman 60 gal. better get some good lungs, I just ran 200ft of maxline M7500 in a modified loop, one over the top and one around the sides and back of the shop. 2 reels, and 6 drop stations. That is a ton of air capacity... but when I was pricing it all out, it was only about $120 more than black iron and a **** ton less joints, no threading, cut... compress... and move on to the next T or fitting. I have $400 total for 2 kits, 2 threaded T's, a couple extra fittings. Not bad for super clean 200 ft. loop of 3/4".

I am installing the Maxline 3/4" in my garage. I bought a three filter setup on Amazon (see link below). I also bought a Parker 3/4" regulator. I'm going to do some painting, non-show projects. Where does the filter set up get installed and the regulator? I am thinking from my paint hose connection backwards have the regulator within inches and the filter set up inches in front of the regulator. Does that sound appropriate?

I'd have the filter as far away from the compressor as possible.
