I want to make my allen, torx, sets a little more complete. Instead of buying all the sets of T handles and then bits for 1/4" square drive for ratchets and then 1/4" hex drive for use with m12 driver. I'm thinking about just getting 1/4" hex drivers and then a straight and T ratcheting handle. That way I can use them with the ratcheting handles or my m12 driver. This will keep cost and the amount of space they take up in the tool box down. I'm thinking mostly the 6" long hex bits.
I do have some stuff already like metric long ball tip hex socket bits, long torx socket bits, and a ton of various hex bits. Just thinking that will be better to have interchangeable bits and handles vs buying complete sets of T handle and straight handle and all the others. Plus if a bit gets damaged or lost it won't cost much to replace.
Anyone go this route vs buying sets of T handles torx and allens?
I was looking for a good T handle and then start looking for sets of bits. Anyone have a good ratcheting T handle for 1/4" hex bits? I did come across this gearwrench set that looks pretty nice but looks like the handles are square drive and you have to use a extension that comes with it to get to 1/4" hex. I think I would like to be able to just stick the hex bits in the handle and not have an extra extension to have to use. But this kit does look pretty nice, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HBAHNC/?tag=atomicindus08-20
