There are so many choices that will direct your decision.
Do you want something very long, or something short? As an example, I have these in both Metric and SAE. Reasonablly priced:

I have found that I like the ability to reverse direction and although I like those double end flexhead ratcheting wrenches, I like to be able to switch directions. That said, I use them with no problems, especially when I want a flex head or something long reaching. So I like the ability to change directions, but, some people complain that they bump the direction lever and it changes direction when they do not want that or the direction lever gets in the way.
I like my Protos, I have the set JSCVMT-22S, that I purchased from Zoro. I would provide a link, but Zoro bans my IP for some time when I navigate there using google, remove the google reference portion of the URL and then test the URL without the Google reference. So, here is a link NOT associated with Zoro. This set is expensive, but it is up to 36mm, and you probably do not need that, but, if you do. I bought this set because it was tested as being really good at removing tough bolts. On the other hand, it is a Spline drive, so if you do not want a Spline drive. It does have a reverse switch... They have worked well for me, but they are not flex-head. These are 6mm-19mm, 21, 22, 24, 27, 30, 32, 34, and 36mm. So missing 20, 23, 25, 26, 31, 33, and 35mm. I have not missed the missing sizes really. I have a non-racheting set with no skips from 6mm-32mm from Wright Tools with the 31mm from Tekton (Because Wright Tools does not make a 31mm, and I don't think that I have ever used the 31mm).
I have the Craftsman V-Series (Facom) versions (CMMT87375V), but they are not flex head, there are lots of skips 9, 10-14, 17, and 19mm.
I have a stubby flex head set from Olsa Tools (1358). My primary complaint is that it is not reversible. Apart from that, I like them, probably even more than my Blue Point set that is reversible (SAE), but I do not like the direction lever on the Blue Point set.

Also never heard much bad about the Harbor Freight ICON set, but I have not tried them or even looked at them.
I think that first you need to decide if you want (or need):
- Reversible
- Flex Head
- Standard wrench with an open end or just a double ended
- Handle Length
From there, you can narrow down what you want. I own Blue Point because Olsa Tools was out of stock on the SAE for months. I strongly prefer switchable, and I like how Proto switches, but not my Blue Point Stubbies.

Tekton has wrenches up to 24mm, which is nice, but I don't thinkk that you can get flex head and reversible (but I did not check to see if that has changed).
