Re: Snap On dealer discounts
Many years ago. My local Snap on dealer would offer a discount if I made a mid to large purchase and paid for the items in full at the time of purchase. Normally, it was 10% over $100 + items thrown in if it was a larger amount.
My dealer retired and I no longer work at a shop. I have around 6 dealers that are in driving distance. The one dealer that I have known for a few years, does not offer deals for anything other than what is on the monthly flyer. I rarely break tools so the warranty has not been an issue. Basically, I show up and buy items with cash. It is usually a hassle tracking the truck down in rush hour traffic. Starting to feel like it is easier to order from the Snap on website.
Curious about what the other dealers offer in the way of discounts for purchase amounts of $100, $300, $500 and $1,000+ for hand tool purchases. Please share your recent experiences?
Getting to purchase a large order of items and want to see if I should branch out and try another dealer or not.
PS. The tool boxes seem to have a lot more flexibility, so I do not want to bring those in this thread.
