Howdy GJ,
I've been without a compressor for long enough now and wondered if I could ask some guidence on what my next move should be. Sold my previous compressor, a 20 gal Husky that did it's job but on occasion would run more than I would like, continuous.
I am now thinking of going to a 60 gal and have been impressed with the positive attitude people have about the Quincy brand. The problem I am having is finding spec sheets on the different models they have available. So finding the right one is hard for me to research.
My needs: This compressor will be going into my attached garage and eventually my detached once it is built. So I want to make the inital investment now. Basically I need a compressor that will fill tires, run the standard DIY mechanic tools and handle a descent amount of blowing. In either home it will have two air outlets so the potential of having two tools running is there but slim. I have no idea my CFM requirements....1/2" impact, cut off wheel, die grinder, etc...No painting or sand blasting.
I guess if someone could suggest a resource for Quincy models, that would be great. Or any suggestions on size or other brands aswell. TIA. I'm hoping with a budget of $1500 it will get it done.
I know this topic is a common one, I am continuing to do searches as we speak.
