I kinda hate to admit it because there are dang few items I would recommend from Harbor Freight, but their $0.99 multipurpose scissors are a good value. I've got a pair in the kitchen, in every toolbox, in the truck, and in my bailout bag.
i keep a pair of the medic/ trauma scissors in just about every bag/ tool box that i have. They are cheap, will cut just about anything and they won't tear up a cloth bag or poke you by accident.
+1 Yep, I carry the same scissors in my toolboxes. Rugged and super cheap. If I do lose or damage them I've lost only $1. Grab another pair out of the drawer and good to go.
My Klein electrician's scissors are never far from me. These are awesome and a leather belt-clip holster is available.
i recently bought these as my shop scissors. very nice and usa made.![]()

Maybe I just got lucky with the ones I have... I used a pair of mine to cut abrasive "skateboard tape" to put on the running boards of a horse trailer, figuring it would destroy them and I'd just throw them out. But the danged things were unfazed by the abuse and will still cut stuff as thin as gift-wrap.The HFT scissors I use in the kitchen and have soon lost the ability to cut thin items, seems to jam between the blades instead of cutting
