Pump 4b247b for speedaire 4B228E
I wanted to make the air output bigger, 1/2 instead of 1/4.
Got the idea from post #38

When I removed the bung to make it 1/2, I saw a bunch of rust inside the tank.
So I poured 10 gallons of vinegar to get rid of the rust. Letting it sit in different positions for a few days.
While I'm doing that, I got the air pump removed.
I remember I was getting small oil residue in my inline filter, so not sure if pump cylinder is leaking oil or smth.
Seems like it could be a good time to rebuild the pump, not sure if that'd be a good idea.
Never ever did anything like this before, so not sure if it's a good idea or not, and how hard it is to find a rebuild kit.
Not sure if anyone has any experience rebuilding a compressor pump, maybe even the same model?

3/8 vs 1/4 milton high flow fittings
I see most of these discussions have devolved into something weird. I read and read and read and cannot find the answer 🤣 I've plumbed my air system with 3/8 inner diameter hose. I have maybe a 15-20 feet run to the sandblaster, so not long...
