My Milwaukee M12 does so easily.A 12 volt? Will a 12 volt drive 3-1/8" construction screws?
If you're building a deck with 1,000 screws, buy or rent a stand-up gun. Your back and your knees will thank you.If you're building a deck with 1,000 screws that's undesirable.
I don't remember that bit but I can believe it, as the DeWalt makes fewer (i.e. longer/bigger) hits per revolution of the bit. Also starts impacting from very low load so less suitable for use for fine driving.DeWalt has introduced a 20V equivalent that is stronger but according to the TTC it has more vibration.
That's why M12 exists. Frankly, what they have accomplished with the Gen 2 Stubby impact is crazy. 500 ft-lb from 12V?What's the main advantage of the 12 volt; less weight to carry around?

Yup, size and weight. I rarely use my 18v 1/2” impact now because the m12 1/2” is so powerfulWhat's the main advantage of the 12 volt; less weight to carry around?
