So, new rancher house with a concrete basement floor. Basement is prolly >\ 1500 sq ft.
Concrete was poured about 9 mos ago. The issue I'm having is my cat throws up in the basement and it stains the concrete.
I'm not looking for anything to aesthetically add to the concrete - just something that will make this easier to clean up. Even after scrubbing concrete with a wire brush and alkali APC - stains remain.
I think I found a product to remove the stains - but I want to put something down to prevent them in the future.
Something easy...Not interested in epoxy flooring. It seems a lot of the concrete sealers are basically "clean and spray".
I was looking at Quickcrete water based concrete sealer. It says it holds up to oil/gas - and reviews seem generally good. It also seems easy to touch up - or re-apply.
Any experience?
