Depends what u wanna spend, how big a battery back you can live with, and how long the run time. The Milwaukee rechargable model is nice. They make one that takes regular batteries too. I have a Coast light thats big (HL8 , not the HL8R) , but the runtime and output is amazing.
Check the coast website. Dont let the lower prices fool you into thinking they arent worth it. Compare lumens vs runtime. Things are worthless if they only last an hour or 2. Rechargeable lights are great - until youre waiting for them to recharge. Consider how long you might realistically need the thing, compare that with runtime and if replacement batteries are available or worth buying. A costco pack of 48 AA or AAA batteries might be worth it for you to get a cheaper light and give up on HAVING to make sure one more thing is plugged in before you leave. Only you will know..
When i was doing more emergency calls at night - i wasnt willing to chance NOT having my light charged, and i get free batteries at work anyway. Being able to swap in a few new AA’s and be back up and running was better for me at the time.
Do not underestimate coast. They work great, dont cost a lot, and you wont cry if something bad happens to em.
