Recommended laser parking system.

I just bought a new pickup and it will barely fit lengthwise in my garage. I need to install a laser parking system to avoid bumping the front wall. Can someone recommend a system based on personal experience?

I put a small paint mark on the wall. I line up the A Pillar with it.

I also got a socket to outlet adapter for the light in my garage door opener that the laser plugs into. That way the laser will only come on when the garage door opener light is on.

I don't have this issue, but relying on electronics could fail resulting in contact. If you are that tight than a mechanical solution might prove a better solution. The tennis ball is really a simple fix. A painted line would be open for interpretation by another driver resulting in said contact.

I use a 2x4 wood block on the floor where I want the front tire to stop.

Came out of the last Exxon I managed before it was torn down. I have it set in my garage so when the back tires go over the hose and it dings, I stop.

I have a bright green glove hanging from the ceiling, like a tennis ball. I have it set so I can get the car in, and the hatch open with the overhead door closed. It works perfectly, I wouldn't trust anything that relies on electronics. The concern for me is making sure the car is in, but also close enough to the door, that I can still use my shop space in front of the cars effectively.

I have a piece of 2x4 glued to the floor with silicone. I tried the tennis ball but it was always ******* me off when I walked in without the car parked there, and tying it out of the way meant I'd forget to put it back down.

I couldn't get the geometry right to have it go up and down with the garage door.
