I know there is a orange and green thread. Is there one for red tools? I know most SO tools default to red but was just wondering. I did try an search but didn't come up with anything.

I was wondering about a RED thread also. I have had my RED hard handle screwdrivers for 20 years and recently started looking for more. I will post a picture this weekend.

Best thread ever!

95% of my Snap On tools are red, it didn't start out that way but after the kit started building up years ago I began intentionally shopping for red and now I have a lot of it.

Is there room for other red tools here, or just snap on??

Posted from Fred's iPad, now whether or not it was Fred is up for debate.

I HATE red... It's such an overused colour for tools and workshops... ;)

Actually I shouldn't be in here at all.... I don't have a single Snap-On tool in my workshop.

I have only been buying tools for a little over a year. Here's the red snap on items I have so far.
Lots of other stuff in red boxes but that doesn't really count.

my snap-on stuff is mostly black handle, followed by red, then green, then orange, with few yellow. I just bought whatever color the snap-on guy had on his truck at the time.

Ha..!

Yeah, the benches are a bit on the flimsy side, but the cost of can run to 3 or 4 hundred
pounds each for heavy duty ones.... and I needed three of them. So I bought these, bolted
them all together using many bolts, then bolted them to the wall. The work tops are 25mm
ply I bought as a single sheet and cut and sanded, then each one is screwed to the work
bench with 12 screws from underneath.

The top shelves are just standrd planks of timber mounted with wodden risers and then
fitted underneath with kitchen under cabinet strip lights. The end result is incredibly strong
and a joy to use. It has taken everything I have thrown at it in it's stride, and the addition
of the lighting has made dissasembly and reassembly of small componants really
comfortable to do.
