I'll have to mosey out to the barn to get the whole part numbers. They began with 111**. On looking closer at the remnants of the decal, I could make out Mech......, and, yes it does have Made in USA stamped into it. The decal appears to have been black with silver lettering. It's missing one jaw face.
I also picked up a Wilton tilt vise. Not the highest quality construction. It's US, but rather cheaply made. The jaw faces aren't square, vertically. The rail looks to be held in place with a single roll pin, on the front jaw, and moves when it's tightened up. I had to weld a new tooth to the bottom plate, and welded the teeth up, and recut them, to make the vise lock in place. Whoever had it, had tightened the locking nut down, super tight, to keep it from wobbling. If I keep it, I think I'll glue some leather to the jaw faces, and use it as a gunsmithing vise. It's not built for any heavy useage.
