I have a 5" Red vise. This one has a square tube. I'm leaning towards a Wilton, but this has a sticker, that is illegible. It is stamped Made In USA. It also has the parts numbers stamped in. That's what leads me to think this is a Wilton. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Looks like your standard wilton mechanics vise.

Also we’re sold under a couple different names I think.

If USA is cast in the other side then it’s a little older, they are Chinese now.

Thanks!
I'll have to mosey out to the barn to get the whole part numbers. They began with 111**. On looking closer at the remnants of the decal, I could make out Mech......, and, yes it does have Made in USA stamped into it. The decal appears to have been black with silver lettering. It's missing one jaw face.
I also picked up a Wilton tilt vise. Not the highest quality construction. It's US, but rather cheaply made. The jaw faces aren't square, vertically. The rail looks to be held in place with a single roll pin, on the front jaw, and moves when it's tightened up. I had to weld a new tooth to the bottom plate, and welded the teeth up, and recut them, to make the vise lock in place. Whoever had it, had tightened the locking nut down, super tight, to keep it from wobbling. If I keep it, I think I'll glue some leather to the jaw faces, and use it as a gunsmithing vise. It's not built for any heavy useage.

OK, I checked the numbers. 111066 & 111067. That's the front and rear sections of the vise. As to paint, I think this is the original paint. The remnants of the decal, probably wouldn't be there on a repaint. But, they did slather it on. Those part numbers are almost filled in. There is some kind of stamping above the part numbers, maybe 2 larger digits or letters. Can't tell. Thanks.

Definitely a Wilton vise with those part numbers.

Nice enough vise, though not super old. Mount it and use the **** out of it.

Other numbers may just be casting numbers.

I’m about 100% sure that’s a repaint. Parts are painted that shouldn’t be. Wilton sells/gives away new badges. Lots of us on here have refurbished them.
